Our Mission & Values

We understand how important your furry family members are to you and what a special place they hold in your heart and life. We treat all of our patients as if they were our own. Our pets are able to live much longer today than they could even 20 years ago thanks to scientific advances and improved standards of care. Working together, we can help give your pet the fullest opportunity to achieve the long, healthy, enjoyable life it deserves.

Dr. Terrel

With a state-of-the-art LaBoit Mobile Clinic, Dr. Terrel does physical exams, wellness programs, individualized vaccination programs, heartworm testing, eye and ear conditions, heartworm and flea prevention, arthritis and lameness issues, surgeries, teeth cleaning, x-rays, lab work, peaceful end-of-life care, and over 95% of what a typical vet would do in a regular “brick and mortar” clinic – usually at a lower cost to you and with less stress on your pet.

One on one attention with the vet

Most veterinary hospitals schedule appointments every 15 minutes. Our appointments run 30 to 45 minutes, sometimes longer depending on the situation. We want to take the time to thoroughly evaluate your pet in his or her environment, as well as answer all of your questions.

All pets in the household may be seen in one visit

As long as they have been scheduled in advance to allow adequate time. This is very helpful for multi-pet households. Regardless of the number of pets examined, you pay only a single Housecall Fee.

Advantages of Home Visits

Did you know that a standard veterinary waiting room is often the most likely place your dog or cat may come in contact with contagious diseases?  That cute puppy sitting next to you could be there because it has distemper, parvo, or kennel cough – this risk is minimized with home vet visits.

Less stress and fear for your pet

Less stress for you

Not having to somehow get your pet into your car.

Not having to have your car detailed afterwards.

Avoids unpredictable waiting times compared to waiting in a veterinary clinic

Minimizes exposure to other animals and contagious diseases

Dear Dr. Terrel, Thank you so much for the major role you played in Patches’ recovery. Your expert advice gave us the courage to move forward with additional treatment. You truly went above and beyond the call of duty while taking care of our girl. We will forever be grateful for your kindness.

Doug and Tanya H.,

Dear friends, Lisa and I would like to Thank you for your compassion and professionalism yesterday. We had to put Pugsley down after 15 wonderful years. You made it as easy on us as possible and I cannot express to you how much it meant to us. Pugsley was a major part of our life and we wanted to give him dignity in his last moments. You did that for us. Thank you . Time and time again , you have been there for us through good times and bad. We feel you are our extended family. You are so sweet and yesterday was that much easier because of you . Thank you and God Bless ..

Lisa and Jackie W., Pepe, Dixie, Durble, Petey and Mushy

Dear Dr. Terrel and Staff, We would like to thank you for the good care you took of Teddy during her illness. She is much better and back to herself. Thanks for all your kindness that everyone showed us.

Stella & Doug K.

Dear Dr. Terrel, It means so much to us that you are so patient and gentle with our babies. We know that you did just about everything that could possibly have been done for Barney. He was such a sweet dog. Thank you for being so patient with us, as well. We appreciate your explanations.

Lynwood & Cathi W. ,

Dear Dr. Terrel, We wanted to take this opportunity to thank you for the love and caring you have shown towards our dog, Gigi. Throughout her illness, you and your associates have gone beyond the bounds of professional courtesy and shown us a great amount of compassion in often giving us advice that we might have otherwise not have conceded to ourselves, due to our emotional involvement in the situation. You have never been one to talk to us in a way in which we might not understand, yet you always seem to make the medical facts clear to us. It is obvious that you care a great deal about your patients. Again, we want to thank you for your care and concern and for being a good doctor for us. You are truly an asset to the Austin & Associates Clinic.

Todd & Chris R.,

Dear Dr. Terrel, I wanted to let you know how much we appreciate your help with Brute over the past years. Although we’ve always known you were the best, my family was very impressed with your professionalism and kindness, something I’ve known all along. Best Wishes.

Debra B.,

Dr. Terrel, Thank you for your work, concern and support for Roscoe during his kidney failure. Sarah and I greatly appreciate your being there for him and us when he died. Again, thank you. Much love.

Esteban & Sarah F.,

Dr. Terrel is outstanding and has been great to work with. He is very caring and considerate of the animals. His pricing is much more reasonable than going into the clinic. It is also very convenient for the animals and care givers.

Dr. Terrel has cared for our pets for many years. When I found out about his mobile clinic, I was very happy to reconnect with him and his business. Having a vet that will come to our home to take care of our pets is an easy solution to quality pet care. I highly recommend Dr. Terrel’s services.
